I just arrived back in India from Kathmandu & Nepal. I deftliieny ended up having a blast, both in the mountains & in the city itself. I met some great, interesting people, and had a great time. However, I was (and deftliieny still am) bothered by many things about the country. Where so many of those people are concerned, it’s a dark, decadent place. For example: some of the dark religious practices specifically, animal sacrifice in most of the temples. One main difference between India and Nepal is that in Nepal, the people eat meat, drink, have sex, etc. In India, the omnipresent ads & billboards are for hair oil and motorcyles. In Nepal, they are for booze, cigaretts, condoms, as well as for hair oil and those types of things. I am now in Varanasi, India historically and legendarily considered to be the holiest city in India. It’s an interesting place You know God dosen’t care what you put in Her river God accepts everything. In spite of the insanity, the subtle energies are undeniable. Tomorrow is Shiva Ratri, probably the holiest day of the year. It happens on the new moon of this particular month on the Hindu calander.

  9. “Professor Gates’ house was recently the site of an attempted robbery”This is the part that makes me laugh. The guy’s house had been part of an attempted robbery, you would think that he would be happy to see that the police responded to another possible break-in attempt.
