Hi Wax and EOM
Great episode. I lived in the states, moved around a bit and now living in France and I always like hearing about those little differences that end up sometimes making us complete strangeres to one another’s culture.
Also made me though of that scene in Pulp Fiction.
You guys don’t seem to be passing by the south of France. Would’ve definitely gone to your show.
Keep it up.
It was nice hearing the subtle differences you’ve noticed between Europe and the states, I’m originally from NY but have been living in Prague for the past year. You should definitely come through to Prague and perform. If you didn’t know the Czech Republic has the highest beer consumption per capita in the world and weed is legal, so you’d definitely dig the scene here.
Keep up the podcast,
Hi EOM and you musical genius (with a beautiful … ),
cool podcast – the best is the clap-comparison… you’re so right!
I would really like to see you again. Perhaps in Amsterdam?
Greetz, your radioreporter from cologne
- not on cocaine at all and never asked you about the origin of your name -
Didn’t know about the hotel key room light activation & motion sensor lights in European hotels. Always entertaining & informative listening to wax, & thank you for preparing with notes before your podcast, be nice if EOM did the same. Funny how it was mentioned about people who talk with low energy, b/c EOM droned on in that monotone with nothing to add to the podcast, just regurgitated reiterations of what wax already mentioned & a knack for stating the obvious. Hope he does better in his next podcast & speaks a bit livelier & more entertaining. After all, what good is it being in the entertainment business, if your not entertaining? Not to take away the other elements of your craft, EOM, of making beats, you do it well. But being unprepared with notes for a podcast is inexcusable, especially if your not good with off the cuff commenting, like wax.
I’m from Germany and i found it very interesting to listen to your podcast.
It’s funny, that you didn’t see some highspeed cars at the autobahn, because THEY really can go much faster ;D 180 is nothing and your already scared – no offense!
about the chart-show and Right Said Fred: they don’t have any new popular songs here, but the show is about themes like all time classics or most succesful summerhits or somehthing like that, so they invite all the People, that had songs in these categories.
I also find it kind of interesting, how you two say these things about the language and that americans are sheltered. you don’t hear things like that very often..
and it is common to say like “it’s 3 o’clock” if it’s 3 pm. Only for formal things or so you use 15:00…
Keep the good work up and have lots of fun at fucking ROCK AM RING!!!
